Blackmore Players

The Blackmore Players attract members from all over Essex - once you join, you won't want to leave!
We put on 3 or 4 shows a year which normally take the form of a Panto, a play and a musical or revue show.
We also like to encourage the youngsters in the village, so whenever possible we like to give our Next Generation the chance to star in their own show!

All shows are produced in-house with producers/directors usually coming from within the group.

You don't need to audition to get into the group, or indeed to be in chorus for panto or musical shows, but you will normally need to do a small audition for a part in panto and plays.

No experience is necessary and everyone gets an equal chance.
We rehearse on Wednesdays at Blackmore Village Hall, from 8pm to 10pm. For some shows there will be extra rehearsals - sometimes on a Friday, and sometimes on a Sunday - it's up to the producer and availability of the hall!
